There were present at that season some that told him of the Galilaeans, whose blood pilate had mingled with their sacrifices.
And Jesus answering said unto them, suppose ye that these Galilaeans were sinners above all the Galilaeans, because they suffered such things?
I tell you, Nay; but, except ye repent, ye shall all likewise perish. Or those eighteen, upon whom the tower in siloam fell, and slew them, think ye that they were sinners above all men that dwellth in Jerusalem? I tell you, Nay, but, except ye repent, ye shall all likewise perish. He spake also this parable, A certain man had a fig tree planted in his vine yard; and he acame and sought fruit theron, and found none.
What are Jesus commandments? Some of them involve conduct that we must avoid. Effort is required to live in a way that pleases Jesus, Jesus is in truth God" said the prophet Jeremiah. " He is the living God. " Jesus also sustains our lives. He provides the food we eat, the water we drink, the air we breathe, and the land we live on. Jesus has done this in a way that makes life enjoyable. But to enjoy life to the full, we need to learn God's laws and obey them.
