Let love be without dissimulation. Be kindly affectionated one to another with brotherly love. Rejoicing in hope, continuing instant in prayer. Rejoice with them that do rejoice,be of the same mind one toward another.
Praise those who curse you, pray for those who abuse you, to all who ask you give what you have,as you wish people to do for you, do for them. if you do good to those who do good, what grace is yours?love your enemies and do good. your reward will be great. be compassionate as your father in heaven is compassionate.
I move from those who spoke to God to those who spoke for God.
Something strange happens when you compare those who speak to God in prayer with those who speak for God in prophecy.
And those qualities must flow from God to us, from heaven to earth.
Trusting God is learning to know God beyond images and concepts. It is spiritual knowing. The journey into God must change both heart and mind. The heart is the center of our being.
It is in contemplative stillness before God and self that we experience the most potential for healing the split of head and heart.
The role of heart and mind is to cooperatewith truth by opening to love.
As followers of Jesus Christ we are called to be hospitable, to be a hospital that helps those who are going through life's storms and need restoration.
Heavenly father make me open to be willing to serve others through showing hospitality.
may i provide a safe haven.
