They that are after the spirit the things of the spirit But ye are not in the flesh,but in the spirit.if so be that the spirit of God dwell in you. And Christ be in you, but the spirit is life because of righteousness.

For are many as are led by the spirit of God, they are the sons of God.The spirit beareth wittness with our spirit,l that we are the children of God. Think about electricity as a metaphoror a symbol for God.

This God-as-electricity is always there, whether we discover it or not. Even when found , my human freedom allows me to connect. God-as-electricity is equally available  to all comers, you do not have to merit it by your action or derserve it by your character. You can be rich or poor, young or old, gay or straight, female or male, or anything else you  can imagine.

Imagine God-as-electricity and think of prayer as empowerment by participation in and collaboration with God.

knock and the door will be opened seek and you will find, everyone who asks receives and the seeker finds.

How much more your father of the skies give good gifts to those who ask.I will both lie down in peace, and sleep; for you alone, O lord, make me dwell in safety.

The serene beauty of a sleeping child makes all the day's frustrations worthwhile.

Scripture indicates that God's ideal condition for his children is peace. God desires for us to become weary of wrongdoing and to rest in the safety and contenment of his loving ways.

Lord, help me not to squabble and cause friction with others about unimportant matters.

May I instead find rest in your love and wisdom and seek peace.
