The prophet unto Zerubbabel the son of Shealtiel, governor of Judah, and to Joshua the son of Jehozadak, the high priest.

saying,Titus 1:10 For there are many unruly and vain talkers and deceivers, specially they of the circumcision: 2 Samuel 21:21 And when he defied Israel.

1 Samuel 17:36 Thy servant slew both the lion and the bear: and this uncircumcised Philistine shall be as one of them, seeing he hath defied the armies of the living God. Haggai 1:5 Now therefore thus saith the Lord of hosts.

Consider your ways.

Wherefore I have brought him forth before you, and specially before thee, O king Agrippa, that, after examination had, I might have somewhat to write. Numbers 23:7 And he took up his parable.

And said, Balak the king of Moab hath brought me from Aram, out of the mountains of the east.

Saying, Come, curse me Jacob, and come, defy Israel. Haggai 1:6 Ye have sown much, and bring in little; ye eat, but ye have not enough; ye drink, but ye are not filled with drink; ye clothe you, but there is none warm.

And he that earneth wages earneth wages to put it into a bag with holes. Deuteronomy 7:6 For thou art an holy people unto the Lord thy God.

The Lord thy God hath chosen thee to be a special people unto himself, above all people that are upon the face of the earth.

1 Samuel 17:45 Then said David to the Philistine, Thou comest to me with a sword, and with a spear, and with a shield: but I come to thee in the name of the Lord of hosts, the God of the armies of Israel.

Whom thou hast defied.
