Opening Prayer-
Father Yahusha, we come before You in reverence and thanksgiving. Thank You for Your endless grace and mercy that surrounds us daily. We humbly ask that Your presence fill this space, as we speak of Your word and Your calling for us to care for the Earth You created. May Your wisdom guide us, and may Your Holy Spirit empower us to act with courage and compassion. We ask for understanding, boldness, and grace as we seek to be faithful stewards of Your creation. In the name of Yahusha, Halaleyah.
There once was a family, sitting quietly together, gathered in their home. Outside, the world seemed to be in turmoil. News reports spoke of floods, wildfires, and storms growing stronger every year. The Earth, the very place where they walked, breathed, and grew, seemed to be groaning in pain. It was as if all creation was crying out for help. But this family, though they could not control the world, knew that they had been entrusted with something sacred—a duty to care for what Yahusha had given them.
One evening, as the sun set and the family gathered around their table, the father, a humble man, opened a worn-out scroll and began to read from the Scriptures*
"The Earth is the Lord's/Yahusha's, and everything in it, the world, and all who live in it" (Psalm 24:1, NIV).
The mother, with a thoughtful gaze, nodded and added, "Yes, all of creation belongs to Yahusha. It is His, and He has entrusted us with its care. But what are we doing to honor that trust?"
The children, who had been listening intently, wondered what they could do. The family often discussed the importance of taking care of the Earth—of the forests, the waters, and the animals—and how all life was connected. But now, more than ever, the world seemed to be in crisis. The father turned to a passage from the book of Halaleyah, inspired by the very essence of Yahusha’s heart;
"You open Your hand and satisfy the desires of every living thing."(Tellihim)-(Halaleyah-Psalms 145:16)
He explained, "Yahusha provides for all living things. He created everything with purpose, from the smallest seed to the largest mountain. Our role is not just to enjoy creation but to be its caretakers. We are called to steward the land, to care for the water, and to protect the creatures of this Earth. When we fail to do this, we fail in our responsibility to Yahusha."
The mother spoke again, her voice full of conviction. "We know the world is hurting, but this doesn't mean we should shrink back in fear. Instead, we must rise, as Yahusha has called us to do. His Word is clear in Halaleyah Scriptures (Tellihim)-Psalms 96:11-13-
"Let the heavens rejoice, let the earth be glad; let the sea resound, and all that is in it. Let the fields be jubilant, and everything in them; let all the trees of the forest sing for joy. Let all creation rejoice before Yahusha."
She paused and looked at her children. "We are part of this creation. When the Earth suffers, we suffer. But we also have the power, through Yahusha's guidance, to heal, restore, and protect."
The family discussed ways they could make a difference, even in their small corner of the world. They decided to plant trees, reduce waste, and start composting. They talked about how they could support policies that would protect the environment, and how their actions, no matter how small, could be an offering to Yahusha.
The father, inspired by the words of Yahusha, concluded, "Let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven" (Mattithyahu )-(Matthew 5:16).
"Let us be that light," he said. "Let us show the world what it means to live in harmony with the Earth Yahusha created. Our actions, no matter how small, are a reflection of our love for Yahusha and His creation."
The children nodded, understanding that every little change mattered. As they prayed together, they felt the weight of their responsibility, but also the incredible grace that Yahusha had bestowed upon them to act in love, wisdom, and hope.
Closing Prayer~
Father Yahusha, we thank You for the reminder that this Earth is Yours, and we are entrusted to care for it with reverence and love. Give us the strength to act with boldness, to make choices that honor You and protect the world You have made. We ask for Your wisdom to guide us, for Your grace to sustain us, and for Your Spirit to empower us to be faithful stewards. May we always be a reflection of Your love and care, shining brightly for others to see. In the name of Yahusha, we pray, Halaleyah.
Let this story remind us all that the environmental crisis is not just a political or scientific issue; it is a spiritual one. As followers of Yahusha, we are called to be active participants in the healing of the Earth, to nurture and protect it as the sacred gift it truly is. Through His strength, may we rise to meet this challenge, acting with grace and power in His name.
