Some of the problems that we are facing today are essentially man-made or products of our own creation; Therefore,a particular kind of spirituality without a particular religious faith is both important and relevant.
It is a narrow understanding that makes us think that these moral issues cannot be practiced without religious faith. We allow certain issues to escalate into problems creating dire consequences.
Follow thou me' (John 21:18-23,KJV). With these words we see the priority of individual friendship with Christ over friendship in Christ.
Like the 'lines' of St.Dorotheo's great circles,the center of which is God,the lines of our individual lives, as they relate to and in Christ, should not interfere with another's unique call to discipleship, even though, in God's providence, they must all converge in him.
Repenting, making amends, and forgiving others and oneself bring peace of mind and an openness to a new chapter in one's life story.
