Heavenly Abba Yah, Creator of the seen and unseen, we humble ourselves before Your throne. We ask for wisdom π§ , understanding π️, and a discerning heart ❤️. Guard us from foolishness, from pride, and from anything that removes us from Your divine tools of truth and righteousness. Let this message reach those who need clarity, peace, and restoration. πΉ Title; When the Toolbox Is Gone
π Parable of Sevan Thorne and the Broken Clocktower. In the village of Emet, a young mechanic named Sevan Thorne 𦦠was entrusted with the great clocktower ⏰, which guided all the people’s seasons, harvests, and holy days. Sevan had one job; maintain the gears π ️, tighten the screws π©, and oil the levers. But over time, Sevan got distracted. He traded tools for trinkets. Instead of his wrench, he wore bangles. Instead of focus, he entertained foolish friends who cheered chaos. One day, the clocktower stopped. Villagers panicked. The sun seemed to rise without order, and the festivals fell on the wrong moons.
When Sevan was asked, “Why did you let the tower break?” he replied, “I lost a screw.” yet a wise elder, descending from the Mohegan tribe πͺΆ and walking in the way of the ancestors πΏ, peered into Sevan’s workshop and said,
> “No child, you didn’t just lose a screw… the whole toolbox is gone.”
πΉ Lesson in Symbolism π© The screw = discernment. π§° The toolbox = Yah's Word, Spirit, discipline, and fear of Elohim. 𦦠The otter = symbolic of playfulness, still also misdirection when not grounded. ⚙️ The gears = divine timing, order, and wisdom. ⛩️ The empty workshop = the hollow soul when Yah's presence is removed.
πΉ Cultural Reflections~Across many cultures; In Zulu tradition, forgetting your spiritual inheritance is seen as a loss of "Ubuntu" (humanity). In Buddhism, distraction leads to suffering (dukkha). In Polish folklore, a wise craftsman without tools is called “lost to the winds.” In Islam, the Prophet (PBUH) warns against being heedless — “ghaflah.” In the Catholic tradition, losing one's moral compass is like losing the armor of God. All wisdom points back to the need for spiritual grounding.
πΉ Application for Today π We live in a time when many are loud however not wise. Some quote scripture still lack fruit π. Some dance in worship though have no humility. If we are not careful, we will think we are just “missing a screw,” nevertheless truly, our entire toolbox of Yah's truth has been misplaced.
π§ Ask yourself; Have I abandoned the disciplines of prayer and study? Do I surround myself with fools or the wise?
Have I traded purpose for popularity?
πΉ Closing Prayer π
Abba Yah, return our tools! Return to us the toolbox of righteousness, patience, kindness, and divine purpose. Let us not be as Sevan Thorne who blamed the screw, nonetheless as the elder who saw the whole truth. Teach us to build again ~ not by our hands, but by Your Spirit.
In Yahusha’s mighty name,
Halleluyah.
