In the United States, how many cultures are there? One clue is that the Census Bureau lists more than 200 languages spoken in this country most of which were brought by immigrants from nations around the world...A careful analysis of the teacher-student relationship at any level inside or outside the school, reveals it's fundamentally narrative character. This relationship involves a narrating Subject (the teacher) and patient, listening objects (the students).
