In the book of exodus Moses was effective in listening to God and conveying god's message to the people who he has chosen. God said I promised your forefathers to give you land and have my people live more abundantly. It was Moses the Jew who wrote the Torah. Exodus 33:7 It was Moses’ practice to take the Tent of Meeting and set it up some distance from the camp. Everyone who wanted to make a request of the LORD would go to the Tent of Meeting outside the camp.
