One who gives must observe. One who cares must communicate. One who cooks must handle the heat. One who drinks water must also clear one's throat. One who speaks the truth must also justify it. Tehillim (Psalms) 115:1-18. Not to us, O Yahweh, not to us, But to Your Name give glory, For Your loving-kindness, For Your truth. Why should the nations say, “Where now is their God?” But our God is in the heavens; He does whatever pleases Him. Their idols are silver and gold, The work of men’s hands. They have mouths, but they do not speak; They have eyes, but they do not see; They have ears, but they do not hear; They have noses, but they do not smell; They have hands, but they do not feel; They have feet, but they do not walk; Nor do they make a sound with their throat. Those who make them become like them; So do all who trust in them. O Israel, trust in Yahweh; He is their help and their shield. O house of Aaron, trust in Yahweh; He is their help and their shield. You who fear Yahweh, trust in Yahweh; He is their help and their shield. Yahweh has been mindful of us; He will bless us; He will bless the house of Israel; He will bless the house of Aaron. He will bless those who fear Yahweh, Both small and great. May Yahweh give you increase, You and your children. May you be blessed by Yahweh, Who made heaven and earth. The heavens are Yahweh’s heavens, But the earth He has given to the children of men. The dead do not praise Yah, Nor any who go down into silence; But we will bless Yah From this time forth and forever. Praise Yah!
