πŸŽ™️When the Menu Is Empty; Feeding Souls in a World of 'I Don't Know'

πŸ“– SERMON TITLE;
The Supper of Silence; When Nobody Knows or Cares

πŸ™πŸ½πŸ€²πŸΌπŸ›πŸ“ΏπŸ™ŒπŸΌ

Heavenly Father, Abba Yahusha,
we come before you with gratitude for the little moments, for laughter hidden in frustration, and for the spiritual lessons found in everyday life. Let this message stir our hearts, ignite wisdom, and turn confusion into clarity. Give us the recipe for “I don’t know” and “I don’t care”~so we may serve understanding and grace at the tables of our lives.
Halleluyah.

🌍 Scripture Reading (Halaleyah Scriptures)

Mishle (Proverbs) 15:17
"Better is a meal of vegetables where love is, Than a fatted calf with hatred."πŸ“œ

Qoheleth (Ecclesiastes) 6:9
"Better is the sight of the eyes than the wandering of desire. That too is futile and feeding on wind."πŸ“œ

πŸ•―️ Here's Message~A Supper with No Recipe. On the surface, this image seems humorous, a cartoon figure asking for a recipe for “I don’t know” and “I don’t care.” Yet beneath the smile lies a universal reality; many of us are spiritually cooking meals based on empty responses. When asked, “What do you want in life?”
Too often the answers are vague; “I don’t know.”
When pressed for purpose; “I don’t care.” These are not just casual phrases. They are ingredients of a cultural famine. A table set with confusion and apathy leaves the soul malnourished.

πŸ” Anthropology, Culture & Symbolism~ In many tribal traditions like the Mohegan, meals are not just about food, they are sacred ceremonies of memory and meaning. Every ingredient represents connection, roots, harvests, ancestors. In contrast, modern Western culture, driven by hyper-individualism and over-choice, has trained families to drift apart at the dinner table, physically present but spiritually absent. Sociologists note that communal eating is statistically linked to better mental health, communication, and trust. Yet today’s homes often serve invisible dishes made of “I don’t know” and “I don’t care.” We must return to intentional nourishment, where every word, action, and relationship is seasoned with purpose. πŸ—Ί️ Geographic & Historical Symbolism~ In Manhattan’s Tenement Museum, you will find stories of immigrant families who survived on scraps however their supper was seasoned with love, hope, and meaning. They had less food, nevertheless more presence. Fewer options, yet deeper unity. That is the real recipe your family is looking for;
Not something from a cookbook, something from the heart. πŸ’‘ Philosophical Insight ~ SΓΈren Kierkegaard once wrote, “Life can only be understood backward, but it must be lived forward.”
How many of us are stuck between what we failed to prepare yesterday and what we are unsure how to serve today?

Plato believed that knowledge begins in wonder.
So let us wonder together;
What would happen if we truly asked the Divine Chef for the recipe? πŸŒ€ Spiritual Energy & Chakras. This spiritual hunger points to a misalignment in our Solar Plexus Chakra, the seat of identity and purpose. When out of balance, we become indecisive, apathetic, and unsure. Realignment begins by declaring; “I choose to care. I choose to know. I choose to serve.” ⚖️ Law and Grace~ Even in courtrooms, silence is powerful. Yet when it becomes a pattern, silence may imply guilt or neglect. Spiritually, when we stay in “I don’t know” for too long, we risk defaulting on our purpose. As Yahusha taught, “Let your yes be yes and your no be no.” Not knowing is okay, nonetheless staying there is spiritual negligence. πŸ’¬ This is Closing Reflection~ If your family asked for supper, and you answered with “I don’t know” or “I don’t care,” it is time to pause. Not to cook, though to listen.
What they really hunger for might not be food at all.

Serve presence.
Serve patience.
Serve prayer.

Let your recipe be this;
A dash of faith,
A sprinkle of hope,
And a bowl full of love.

Yahuah Elohim, prepare in us a heart that cares, even when the answers are unclear. Help us to replace our “I don’t knows” with wisdom, and our “I don’t cares” with compassion. Let us feed our homes with light, laughter, and lessons that stretch beyond the supper table.
Halleluyah.
