Sermon ~The Roar of the Lioness; Standing in Strength Beyond Opinions
By WBJMinistries
Father Yahuah, Elohim of light and life, we thank You for Yahusha, the Lion of Yahudah, who teaches us to walk in boldness and strength. As we open Your Word today, let our hearts be set free from the chains of opinion, and let us roar with the courage of our ancestors, our foremothers, and the women of Scripture. In Yahusha’s Name, Halleluyah.
πScripture Foundation
MishlΔy (Proverbs) 28:1, Halleluyah Scriptures – “The wicked flee when no one pursues, but the righteous are as bold as a lion.”π
Eph’siym (Ephesians) 6:10, Halleluyah Scriptures – “For the rest, my brothers, be strong in the Master and in the mightiness of His strength.”
πThe Lion and the Sheep; Knowing Your Identity. This image of the lion reminds us; “Lions don’t lose sleep over the opinions of sheep.” Yahusha Himself walked with authority. He was called names, misunderstood, and betrayed, yet He never bowed to the opinions of men. Think of Esther, who risked her life before the king. The whispers of the court could not silence her divine calling, she knew she was chosen “for such a time as this.” Like Esther, we are called to rise above the noise of sheep and roar with purpose. The Power of the Lioness Spirit in Women. The lioness hunts, protects, and guards her pride. Women of the Scriptures carried this same power; Deborah – judged nations under a palm tree, leading Israel into victory. Mary Magdalene ~ silenced by opinions, yet chosen by Yahusha to first declare His resurrection. Ruth ~ her loyalty and boldness carved her place in Yahusha’s lineage. Black women echo this spirit too. Angela Davis said; “I am no longer accepting the things I cannot change. I am changing the things I cannot accept.” That is the lioness spirit, refusing to be defined by voices of doubt. And Maya Angelou reminds us; “I am a Woman Phenomenally. Phenomenal Woman, that’s me.” Like Deborah, like Ruth, like Mary Magdalene—phenomenal women roar, not whisper. Beyond Opinions; Living in Divine Assignment. When Harriet Tubman led enslaved souls to freedom, she did not let the “sheep” of her day, the critics, the fearful. Dictate her calling. She followed the roar Elohim placed within her.
π£️Yahusha calls us to do the same. YoαΈ₯anan (John) 10:27, Halleluyah Scriptures says; “My sheep hear My voice, and I know them, and they follow Me.” We are not called to be sheep who echo opinions, but lions who follow His voice alone. Opinions are distractions. Divine purpose is direction.

Elohim, thank You for Yahusha, our Lion and Redeemer. May we rise like Esther, judge with wisdom like Deborah, proclaim truth like Mary Magdalene, and carry the courage of Harriet Tubman and Maya Angelou. Let us walk in strength, refusing to lose sleep over the opinions of sheep, for we are chosen, anointed, and bold. In Yahusha’s Name, Halleluyah.
