THE SEVEN LAMPS, THE SEVEN CENTERS, AND THE POWER OF THE SPIRIT!
A Prophetic Teaching on ZEḴARYAH (Zechariah) 4
"Not by might, nor by power, but by My Spirit, saith YAHUAH of hosts."
What does it mean to be spiritually illuminated? Is it simply about gaining knowledge, becoming more aware of ourselves, or understanding the world around us? Or is true enlightenment about allowing the Spirit of Elohim to guide our entire existence?
In ZEḴARYAH 4, the prophet receives a vision of a golden lampstand with seven lamps, supplied by oil through two olive trees. This vision reveals something powerful: the work of Elohim is not sustained by human strength yet by His Spirit. The seven lamps represent the illumination within the vision. Interestingly, this gives us an opportunity to explore the seven chakras, an ancient spiritual framework associated with different aspects of human experience. Although Scripture does not identify the seven lamps as chakras, we can use the comparison as a reflection on our foundation, desires, personal will, compassion, communication, insight, and spiritual understanding.
Consider the connection;
-Root: Our foundation must be established in faith, not anixety.
- Sacral: Our desires must be governed by discipline.
- Solar Plexus: Our personal strength must never become pride or domination.
- Heart: Our prudence must demonstrate compassion and righteousness.
- Throat: Our words must communicate righteousness rather than destruction.
- Third Eye: Our perception must be accompanied by understandiny.
- Crown: Our spiritual understanding must realize Elohim as our source.
However here is where we must understand the distinction: the chakras do not produce the Ruha HaQodesh, and they are not the source of divine power. The seven lamps in ZEḴARYAH's vision point us toward divine provision and illumination, not a doctrine of human energy centers.
NOT BY MIGHT, NOR BY POWER!
ZEḴARYAH 4:7 speaks of the great mountain becoming a plain before Zerubbabel. What mountains are standing before us today?
Anixety? Pride? Oppression? Confusion? Lack of understanding? We can develop our minds, study our bodies, explore ancient teachings, and gain knowledge. Nevertheless, knowledge without understanding can become another form of pride. We must not become so fascinated with spiritual understanding that we forget the One who gives us life. The real question is not how much spiritual knowledge we possess. It is whether our knowledge is producing humility, faithfullness, compassion, and righteousness.
ZEḴARYAH 4:10 also reminds us not to despise small beginnings. Transformation begins with the willingness to explore what is happening within us before demanding transformation from everything around us. The lamps must remain supplied. The foundation must remain established. And the work must remain guided by the Spirit of Elohim.
FINAL REFLECTION
Seven lamps illuminated the prophet's vision, still the message was greater than the appearance of the lampstand.
It was about divine provision, restoration, perseverance, and the power of the Spirit. Let us study our foundation, discipline our desires, guard our hearts, speak righteousness, develop understanding, and remain humble in our pursuit of understanding.
We can explore the mysteries of human existence, nonetheless we must never confuse our exploration with the source of divine authority.
NOT BY MIGHT. NOT BY POWER. BUT BY THE SPIRIT OF ELOHIM!
In the name of YAHUSHA.
HALALEYAH! 🙏🏽
