To Thundering Thoughts Thursday

Powerful Realization: Carelessness, in some people will often manifest itself as lazy, because they are being self-absorbed. Some people mistake this as self- love. Nevertheless, when a person has self-love,... loving others is easy.

You heard that it was said, ‘You shall love your neighbour and hate your enemy.’ “But I say to you, love your enemies, bless those cursing you, do good to those hating you, and pray for those insulting you and persecuting you.

 So,that you become sons of your Father in the heavens. Because He makes His sun rise on the wicked and on the good, and sends rain on the righteous and on the unrighteous. “For if you love those loving you.

 What reward have you? Are the tax collectors not doing the same too? And if you greet your brothers only, what do you do more than others? Are the tax collectors not doing so too? Therefore, be perfect, as your Father in the heavens is perfect.
Mattithyahu (Matthew) 5:43‭-‬48 TS2009

Give ear, O Shepherd of Yisra’ĕl, Who leads Yosĕph like a flock; Who dwells between the keruḇim, shine forth! Before Ephrayim, Binyamin, and Menashsheh, Stir up Your might, And come and save us! Cause us to turn back.

O Elohim, And cause Your face to shine, That we might be saved! O יהוה Elohim of hosts, How long shall You be wroth Against the prayer of Your people? You have caused them to eat the bread of tears, And have caused them to drink With tears.

A third time. You have made us a strife to our neighbours, And our enemies laugh among themselves. Turn us back, O Elohim of hosts, And cause Your face to shine, That we might be saved! You brought a vine out of Mitsrayim; You drove out the nations.
 And planted it. You cleared a place for it, And caused it to take deep root, And it filled the land. Hills were covered with its shadow, And the mighty cedars with its twigs. She spread her branches to the Sea, And her shoots to the River. Why have You broken down her hedges.
So that every passer-by plucked her fruit? The boar out of the forest ravages it, And the wild beast of the field devours it. Return, we beg You, O Elohim of hosts; Look down from heaven, and see, And visit this vine, And the stock which Your right hand has planted.
And the Son whom You made strong for Yourself. It is burned with fire, it is cut down; They perish at the rebuke of Your face. Let Your hand be upon the One at Your right hand, Upon the Son of Aḏam whom You made strong for Yourself.

 And we shall not backslide from You. Revive us, and let us call upon Your Name. Turn us back, O יהוה Elohim of hosts, And cause Your face to shine, That we might be saved!
Tehillim (Psalms) 80:1‭-‬19

Tehillim The Sovereign

The earth belongs to יהוה, And all that fills it – The world and those who dwell in it. For He has founded it upon the seas, And upon the waters He does establish it. Who does go up into the mountain of יהוה? And who does stand in His set-apart place?

He who has innocent hands and a clean heart, Who did not bring his life to naught, And did not swear deceivingly. He receives a blessing from יהוה, And righteousness from the Elohim of his deliverance. This is the generation of those who seek Him;

 Ya‛aqoḇ, who seek Your face. Selah. Lift up your heads, O you gates! And be lifted up, you everlasting doors! And let the Sovereign of esteem come in. Who is this Sovereign of esteem? יהוה strong and mighty, יהוה mighty in battle.

 Lift up your heads, O you gates! Even lift up, you everlasting doors! And let the Sovereign of esteem come in. Who is this Sovereign of esteem? יהוה of hosts, He is the Sovereign of esteem! Selah.
Tehillim (Psalms) 24:1‭-‬10

equality vs equity

6 = EQUALITY – to be equal in all things, such as knowledge, wisdom, and understanding. 1+2+3=6. Symbolic to the devil and the woman, whose limitation is 6. To summarize: Equality means that the law and government treats everyone the same, irrespective of their status or identity.

My son, if you accept my words, And treasure up my commands with you, So that you make your ear attend to wisdom, Incline your heart to understanding;
Mishlĕ (Proverbs) 2:1‭-‬2

Equity means that, in some circumstances, people need to be treated differently in order to provide meaningful equality of opportunity. Equity is the ownership of any asset after any liabilities associated with the asset are cleared.

For if you cry for discernment, Lift up your voice for understanding, If you seek her as silver, And search for her as hidden treasures,
Mishlĕ (Proverbs) 2:3‭-‬4

For example, if you own a car worth $25,000, but you owe $10,000 on that vehicle, the car represents $15,000 equity. It is the value or interest of the most junior class of investors in assets. Equality is the state of being equal, especially in status, rights and opportunities.

 Equality means each individual or group of people is given the same resources and opportunities, regardless of their circumstances. Equality is the state of being equal, especially in status, rights and opportunities.

Then you would understand the fear of יהוה, And find the knowledge of Elohim. For יהוה gives wisdom; Out of His mouth come knowledge and understanding. And He treasures up stability for the straight, A shield to those walking blamelessly,
Mishlĕ (Proverbs) 2:5‭-‬7

Equality means each individual or group of people is given the same resources and opportunities, regardless of their circumstances. For example, equality would be giving everyone the same type of ladder to pick mangoes at the top of a tree.

Equity would be realising that not everyone can use the same type of ladder and providing another way for them to reach the mangoes at the top of the tree.To watch over the paths of right-ruling, And the way of His lovingly-commited ones He guards.

Then you would understand righteousness And right-ruling, and straightness – Every good path.
Mishlĕ (Proverbs) 2:8‭-‬9

If fairness is the goal, equality and equity are two processes through which we can achieve it. Equality simply means everyone is treated the same exact way, regardless of need or any other individual difference. Equity, on the other hand, means everyone is provided with what they need to succeed.

Rejected By Your Own

For I am persuaded that neither death nor life, nor messengers nor principalities nor powers, neither the present nor the future, nor height nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of Elohim which is in Messiah יהושע our Master.

Romiyim (Romans) 8:38‭-‬39 Do not hide Your face from me; Do not turn Your servant away in displeasure; You have been my help; Do not leave me nor forsake me, O Elohim of my deliverance. When my father and my mother have forsaken me, Then יהוה does take me in.

 Teach me Your way, O יהוה, And lead me in a smooth path, because of my enemies. Do not give me over To the desire of my adversaries; For false witnesses have risen against me, And they breathe out cruelty to me. What if I had not believed To see the goodness of יהוה

 In the land of the living! Wait on יהוה, be strong, And let Him strengthen your heart! Wait, I say, on יהוה! Tehillim (Psalms) 27:9‭-‬14 This is the gate of יהוה, The righteous enter through it. I thank You, For You have answered me, And have become my deliverance.

The stone which the builders rejected Has become the chief corner-stone. This was from יהוה, It is marvellous in our eyes. This is the day יהוה has made, Let us rejoice and be glad in it. I pray, O יהוה, please save us now; I pray, O יהוה, please send prosperity.

Blessed is He who is coming in the Name of יהוה! We shall bless you from the House of יהוה. יהוה is Ěl, and He gave us light; Bind the festival offering With cords to the horns of the slaughter-place. You are my Ěl, and I praise You; You are my Elohim, I exalt You.

Give thanks to יהוה, for He is good! For His loving-commitment is everlasting.
Tehillim (Psalms) 118:20‭-‬29 Save me, O Elohim! For waters have come up to my neck. I have sunk in deep mud, And there is no place to stand; I have come into deep waters, And the floods overflow me.

I am worn out from my crying; My throat is dry; My eyes grow dim As I wait for my Elohim. Those who hate me without a cause Are more than the hairs of my head; They are mighty who would destroy me, My lying enemies; What I did not steal, I restored.

O Elohim, You Yourself know my foolishness; And my guilt has not been hidden from You. Let not those who wait for You, O Master יהוה of hosts, Be ashamed because of me; Let not those who seek You Be humbled because of me, O Elohim of Yisra’ĕl. Because I have borne reproach for Your sake; Shame has covered my face.

 I have become a stranger to my brothers, And a foreigner to my mother’s children;
