Opening Prayer

Heavenly Father, we come before You with hearts full of gratitude and reverence. Thank You for the Sabbath, a day You sanctified for our renewal, restoration, and reconnection with You. As we gather, may Your Ruach Ha’Qodesh (Holy Spirit) guide our hearts and minds, opening us to the wisdom and beauty of Your Word. The Story of Renewal on the Sabbath

The Sabbath day, or "Yom Shabbath" as written in the Halaleyah Scriptures, is a sacred gift from our Creator—a time set apart for healing, peace, and intimacy with Him.

Act I: The Invitation to Rest

In Bereshiyth (Genesis) 2:2-3, it is written-

"And on the seventh day Elohim completed His work which He had made; and He rested on the seventh day from all His work which He had made. And Elohim blessed the seventh day, and sanctified it* because in it He had rested from all His work which Elohim created and made."

(KJV: Genesis 2:2-3)

Imagine a weary traveler in a barren desert, parched and burdened by the weight of their journey. Suddenly, an oasis appears—a place of shade, cool waters, and renewal. This is the essence of the Sabbath. Yahusha created it as a refuge for the soul, a time to set down our burdens and reconnect with Him.

Yahusha said in MattithYahu (Matthew) 11:28-30-

"Come unto Me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take My yoke upon you, and learn of Me; for I am meek and lowly in heart- and ye shall find rest unto your souls. For My yoke is easy, and My burden is light."

(KJV: Matthew 11:28-30)

The Sabbath is Yahusha's invitation to us—a call to cease striving and to dwell in His peace.

Act II: The Restoration of the Broken

In YashaYahu (Isaiah) 58:13-14, we are told-

"If you turn away your foot from the Sabbath, from doing your pleasure on My qodesh (holy) day; and call the Sabbath a delight, the qodesh of יהוה (Yahusha), honourable; and shall honour Him, not doing your own ways, nor finding your own pleasure, nor speaking your own words- Then shall you delight yourself in יהוה (Yahusha); and I will cause you to ride upon the high places of the earth, and feed you with the heritage of Ya’aqob your father- for the mouth of יהוה (Yahusha) hath spoken it."

(KJV: Isaiah 58:13-14)

One Sabbath, Yahusha entered a synagogue and saw a woman bent over, crippled by a spirit of infirmity for eighteen years. With compassion, He healed her. (Luqas [Luke] 13:10-13). This act was more than physical healing; it was restoration. The Sabbath is not just a day to refrain from work but a time for Yahusha to mend what is broken within us—our hearts, minds, and relationships.

Act III: Reconnecting with the Creator

In Shemoth (Exodus) 20:8-11, the command is clear*

"Remember the Sabbath day, to keep it qodesh (holy). Six days shalt thou labour, and do all thy work- But the seventh day is the Sabbath of יהוה (Yahusha) thy Elohim- in it thou shalt not do any work."

(KJV: Exodus 20:8-11)

As Yahusha often withdrew to quiet places to pray, so too should we use the Sabbath to reconnect with Yahusha. The Sabbath is a bridge that brings us back into alignment with our Creator, reminding us of His eternal covenant and unfailing love.

The Testimony of Renewal

When we honor the Sabbath, we experience the fullness of His promises. We find peace in the midst of chaos, healing for our wounds, and joy in His presence. Let us strive to make the Sabbath a delight, not out of obligation but as an act of love and devotion.

Closing Prayer

Abba Yahusha, we thank You for the gift of the Sabbath—a sacred time to rest, restore, and reconnect with You. Let us delight in Your presence and carry the peace of this day into the week ahead. Strengthen our faith, renew our spirits, and help us to walk in alignment with Your will. May WBJMinistries continue to inspire others to embrace the beauty and power of Your Word. Ascending in Solitude- A Journey of Prayer and Renewal

Embracing Solitude in the Presence of Yahusha

Scripture-"After He had sent the crowds away, He went up on the mountain by Himself to pray; and when it was evening, He was there alone." — Mattithyahu 14:23

Greetings, beloved family of WBJMinistries! Today, as we gather, let us turn our hearts and minds to the wisdom in Mattithyahu 14:23. This passage may seem simple at first—Yahusha went up the mountain alone to pray after dismissing the crowds. But within these words lies a profound lesson on the power, grace, and necessity of solitude with our Heavenly Father.

In this verse, we find Yahusha making time to separate Himself from the noise of the world, seeking a quiet space to commune with His Father. He shows us that even in a world filled with pressing needs, miracles to perform, and people seeking His guidance, He recognized the need to pause and withdraw. Why? Because even the Son of Elohim needed the strength and clarity that only time with the Father can provide.

WBJMinistries, as we go through our journey, it’s easy to become consumed by daily demands and responsibilities. Many of us wear multiple hats—some as parents, leaders, caregivers, and more. We are pulled in every direction, often carrying the weight of others' expectations, sorrows, and needs. Yahusha knows these burdens; He, too, felt the press of the crowd and the call to minister. Yet, He shows us the strength and grace found in intentional solitude.

In that solitude, Yahusha was renewed and empowered. This time with Yahusha should be our priority as well, especially in ministry. When we make space for Yahusha, we realign our spirit to His will, clear out confusion, and renew our energy. That time is where clarity emerges, and Yah’s voice becomes loudest. Our Father desires to pour His love, wisdom, and peace into us, but we must create space for Him to move.

Today, I encourage you to follow Yahusha's example. Don’t fear the quiet moments, don’t fear stepping back from the busyness, and don’t feel guilty for retreating to a place of silence. Our ministries, families, and communities will only be blessed more deeply when we pour into them from a place of fullness with Yah.

In prayer, meditation, and the reading of His word, let us climb our own mountains. WBJMinistries, let this be the foundation of our strength, power, and grace. Yahusha is ready to meet you there. Draw close, be renewed, and know that from this place, we will emerge with the light and love that can transform lives.

Friday Blessings Under the New Moon

A New Moon Sermon -Embracing New Beginnings with Yahusha (Jesus) and Elohim(God)

Beloved brothers and sisters of WBJMinistries, we gather here under the glow of a new moon, a time ordained by our Heavenly Father as a symbol of renewal, a promise of fresh starts, and a powerful reminder of His faithful presence in our lives. This new moon marks more than just a phase in the heavens; it is a divinely appointed moment to recalibrate, to draw nearer to Elohim (God), to open our hearts, and to rekindle our passion for Yahusha (Jesus), our Redeemer.

(Tellihim )Psalm 81:3 tells us, "Blow up the trumpet in the new moon, in the time appointed, on our solemn feast day." As the trumpet sounds in the night, we remember that Yah is calling each of us to awaken, to open our hearts, and to listen closely to His guidance. The new moon is a call to action, a reminder to honor Yah with all that we are and to seek His purpose for our lives.

A Time to Renew Our Hearts and Minds (Yeshayahu)

Isaiah 66:23 says, "And it shall come to pass, that from one new moon to another, and from one Sabbath to another, shall all flesh come to worship before me, says the Yahusha." Imagine that! Each new moon, each Sabbath, is an invitation to join in a continuous cycle of worship and gratitude, an unbroken circle of devotion that keeps us connected to Yah, our Creator, and Yahusha, our Savior.

What does this mean for us at WBJMinistries? It means that every new moon is a gift—a reset button. Perhaps this past month was heavy with struggles, perhaps we felt distant from Yahusha (Jesus), or perhaps we stumbled along the way. But the new moon reminds us: Yah's mercies are new every morning! He is the God of second chances, the God / Elohim who beckons us back, not in judgment, but in love.

Opening Ourselves to Yah’s Light

As the moon begins to grow, let it be a symbol of how Yah’s light shines within us. Yahusha Himself said in (Mattithyahu) Matthew 5:16, "Let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven." Just as the moon reflects the sun, we are called to reflect Yah’s light. When we seek Him, when we surrender our worries and our hearts to Him, we become radiant with His presence.

Brothers and sisters, as we observe this new moon, let us turn away from our anxieties and distractions, and turn our faces toward Yah. Let this be our prayer: "Yah, renew me. Let me shine with Your love and truth. Let my life reflect Your goodness, so that others may see You in me."

Rededicating Ourselves to Yah’s Calling (Romiyim) 

Romans 12:1 urges us to "present your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and pleasing to God / Elohim—this is your true and proper worship." As we stand under the new moon, let’s ask ourselves: what can we rededicate to Yah today? Is there a part of our lives we’ve been holding back? A calling we’ve ignored? Let this new moon be a time to lay everything on the altar—to say, "Yah, take all of me. Use me. Guide me
