Spiritual Science: Understanding the Power of the Spirit

👉🏼Introduction
Beloved, today I want to speak about something that many people separate when they should understand how deeply connected they are; spirituality and science.
Science studies what we can observe, measure, and investigate. Spiritual understanding teaches us about what cannot always be seen with the physical eye, the spirit, faith, purpose, wisdom, and the relationship between the Creator and His creation.
We should not be afraid of knowledge.
📖Scripture says:
«“My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge.”📜— Hosea 4:6
Knowledge matters. Understanding matters. But knowledge without wisdom can lead us in the wrong direction. Spiritual science begins with recognizing that creation has order, design, laws, patterns, and purpose.
There Is Order in Creation
Look at the world around us.
The sun rises.
The moon has appointed cycles.
Seeds produce after their own kind.
The body has systems working together. The heart beats without us consciously commanding every heartbeat. Creation operates according to laws.
And when we study those laws, we are not necessarily moving away from the Creator. We can actually become more aware of the wisdom contained within creation.
📜( Tellihim) Psalm 19:1 says:
«“The heavens declare the glory of Elohim.”»
The more we learn about creation, the more we should recognize that there is order beyond ourselves.
The Mind Affects How We Live
Scripture repeatedly teaches us to pay attention to our thoughts.
📜( Romiyim) Romans 12:2 tells us to be transformed by the renewing of our minds.
Why?
Because what takes root in the mind can influence our choices, our behavior, our emotions, and the direction of our lives. If we constantly feed ourselves fear, hatred, hopelessness, and confusion, those things can influence how we respond to life. But when we fill our minds with truth, wisdom, gratitude, discipline, faith, and righteous instruction, we begin to approach life differently. This does not mean that faith makes every physical or emotional problem disappear. It means that our inner life matters.
( Mishely) Proverbs 23:7 teaches us that what is within a person influences who they become.
Faith Is More Than Words
Faith is not simply saying, “I believe.”
Faith produces action.
📜James 2:17 says:
"Faith, if it hath not works, is dead, being alone."
If I believe that wisdom matters, I should seek wisdom.
If I believe that my body is a gift, I should take reasonable care of it.
If I believe that peace matters, I should learn how to respond rather than constantly react.
If I believe that Yahusha is my guide, then my decisions should increasingly reflect His teachings.
Spiritual science asks us to examine the connection between what we believe, what we practice, and what those practices produce in our lives.
The Body and the Spirit
Our physical bodies are remarkable.
We breathe.
We heal.
We digest food.
We sleep and recover.
Our nervous system responds to our surroundings. Yet we are more than physical matter.
📖Scripture teaches us that life has a spiritual dimension.
That means we should care for both our physical life and spiritual life.
Prayer does not mean we ignore responsible care.
Faith does not mean we reject knowledge.
And seeking medical or professional help does not mean that we have abandoned faith.
We can pray
We can seek wisdom.
We can learn.
We can receive appropriate care.
And we can continue trusting Elohim throughout the process.
What We Put Into Ourselves Matters
Spiritual science also teaches us to become more conscious of what we consume. Not only food, nevertheless information.
Ask yourself;
What am I feeding my mind?
What am I watching?
What am I listening to?
What conversations am I participating in?
What attitudes are surrounding me?
What beliefs am I allowing to become rooted inside me?
Just as the physical body is affected by what we consume, our thinking can be influenced by what we repeatedly expose ourselves to.
That is why Scripture tells us to meditate upon righteous instruction.
We should become intentional about what enters our homes, our minds, and our hearts.
Discernment Is Essential
Nonetheless there is another side to spiritual science:
Do not believe everything simply because somebody calls it spiritual.
Test it.
Examine it.
Seek wisdom.
( Yochanan) 1 John 4:1 tells us:
«“Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of Elohim."📜
That is discernment.
Not everything called “energy” is automatically righteous.
Not every spiritual practice is automatically beneficial.
Not every scientific claim is automatically true.
And not every religious claim is automatically correct.
We must learn to examine what we are being taught.
Faith should not make us afraid to ask questions. Faith should give us the courage to seek truth.
Yahusha Is Our Guide
At the center of our spiritual understanding must remain Yahusha.
We are not worshiping science.
We are not worshiping nature.
We are not worshiping our minds.
We are not worshiping our bodies.
We are seeking to understand creation while remembering the One who gave us life.
Yahusha taught us to love Elohim with our heart, soul, mind, and strength.
That means our faith involves the whole person.
Our thoughts matter.
Our choices matter.
Our bodies matter.
Our relationships matter.
Our actions matter.
Our spiritual condition matters.
Conclusion
Spiritual science is not about trying to turn spirituality into a laboratory experiment. It is about recognizing that faith, wisdom, creation, human behavior, physical life, and spiritual understanding are not subjects we should approach carelessly.
There is much we know.
There is much we are still learning.
And there is much that remains beyond human understanding.
So let us remain humility.
Let us study.
Let us pray.
Let us observe.
Let us seek wisdom.
Let us test what we are taught.
Let us care for the bodies we have been given.
Let us guard our minds and hearts.
And above all, let us allow Yahusha to remain our guide as we seek truth.
The goal is not simply to know more.
The goal is to become wiser.
The goal is not simply to understand creation.
The goal is to recognize the wisdom of the Creator within creation.
May we never stop seeking truth.
May we never stop growing in wisdom.
May we never allow knowledge to make us arrogant.
And may our knowledge always lead us toward greater wisdom, righteousness, compassion, and understanding.
