Walking Together in Grace- The Power of Submission and Love

Walking in Grace- A Tale of Submission and Love

It was a brisk morning in Shalom Village, a community nestled along the riverbank where Yahusha’s word flowed freely. Two members of the community, Mary and Caleb, were about to learn the transformative power of submission, unity, and love as spoken in Ephesiym 5:21-
"Submitting yourselves one to another in the fear of Elohim."

Both Mary and Caleb were devoted to Yahusha’s teachings, but they struggled with balancing humility and leadership in their roles. Their journey would remind them, and the entire village, of the grace and power found in submission to one another out of reverence for Elohim.

The Village Council Debate
It was the day of the annual Shalom Gathering, where the community planned their initiatives for the coming year. Mary, a passionate leader, stood to propose a project to care for the widows and orphans. She quoted from Ya’aqob (James) 1:27
"Pure religion and undefiled before Elohim and the Father is this* To visit the fatherless and widows in their affliction."

Caleb, a farmer known for his wisdom, interjected, concerned about how resources would be managed. He referenced Mishlei (Proverbs) 21:5-
"The thoughts of the diligent tend only to plenteousness; but of everyone that is hasty only to want."

The debate grew intense. Though both had good intentions, neither was willing to yield. The council adjourned without resolution, leaving the villagers divided.

A Dream and a Revelation
That night, Mary and Caleb separately prayed for guidance. Mary opened her Halaleyah Scriptures and read from Tehillim (Psalms) 133:1-
"Behold, how good and how pleasant it is for brethren to dwell together in unity!"

Caleb, meanwhile, meditated on Mattithyahu (Matthew) 20:26-28, where Yahusha taught-
"But it shall not be so among you- but whosoever will be great among you, let him be your minister; and whosoever will be chief among you, let him be your servant."

That night, both had the same dream- a vision of Yahusha washing the feet of His disciples. They awoke convicted and humbled.

The River of Submission
The next morning, Mary and Caleb met by the river. Both confessed their pride and their desire to serve the community in unity. They remembered Ephesiym 5:21, the verse that guided their ministry-
"Submitting yourselves one to another in the fear of Elohim."

As they spoke, other villagers gathered. Mary and Caleb jointly shared their vision, acknowledging the need for submission—not as a sign of weakness but as a reflection of Yahusha’s humility and love.

Caleb turned to Yohanan (John) 13:14-15-
"If I then, your Lord /Yahusha and Master, have washed your feet; ye also ought to wash one another's feet. For I have given you an example, that ye should do as I have done to you."

Mary added from ( Philippiyim)- Philippians 2:3-4:
"Let nothing be done through strife or vainglory; but in lowliness of mind let each esteem others better than themselves."

Their words ignited a spirit of grace among the villagers.

 The Celebration of Unity
The next Shalom Gathering was unlike any before. The widows and orphans received care, and Caleb’s wisdom ensured that resources were distributed wisely. Mary and Caleb worked hand-in-hand, showing the beauty of mutual submission.

The community sang a Halaleyah hymn from Tehillim 150:
"Halal Yah! Praise Elohim in His sanctuary; praise Him in His mighty heavens!"

Through their journey, Mary and Caleb demonstrated the heart of Ephesiym 5:21- submission rooted in the fear of Elohim and love for one another.

WBJMinistries echoes this lesson* that in humbling ourselves and serving each other, we reflect Yahusha’s perfect love. Let us remember the words of Mishlei 3:34-
"Surely He scorns the scorners- but He gives grace unto the lowly."

May we walk in grace, submit to one another, and glorify Elohim together. Halaleyah!
