Opening Prayer
Abba Yahusha, Heavenly Father, we come before You in gratitude for the gift of fellowship, the power of unity, and the strength of community. Teach us to walk together in love, to uplift one another, and to build a strong, unshakable body in Your name. Fill us with Your Ruach Ha’Qodesh as we embrace our purpose in Your kingdom. HaleluYah!
Introduction: The Strength of Togetherness in Yahusha
Fellowship and unity are the lifeblood of the body of Yahusha. We are not meant to walk alone but to stand together, shoulder to shoulder, strengthening one another in faith, wisdom, and love. Just as the human body has many parts that function as one, so does the body of Yahusha.
Halaleyah Scriptures Reference:
Qorintyah Aleph (1 Corinthians) 12:12-14 – "For even as the body is one and has many members, and all the members of that one body, being many, are one body, so also is Messiah. For indeed by one Ruaḥ we were all immersed into one body… and all have been made to drink into one Ruaḥ."
The enemy seeks to divide, isolate, and weaken us. Nevertheless Yahusha calls us to unite in strength because iron sharpens iron, and love binds us together. In this season of Black History Month, we also recognize the power of community that sustained our ancestors through trials. Their endurance, courage, and faith serve as a testament to what we can achieve together when we trust in Yahusha.
I. The Sabbath: A Call to Fellowship and Rest in Yahusha
The Sabbath is not just a day of rest—it is a time of fellowship, a divine invitation to pause and gather in unity with and one another. Yahusha established the Sabbath as a sacred covenant, a reminder that we are His people, set apart, meant to be together.
Halaleyah Scriptures Reference:
Shemoth (Exodus) 31:16-17 – "And the children of Yisra’ĕl shall guard the Sabbath, to observe the Sabbath throughout their generations as an everlasting covenant. Between Me and the children of Yisra’ĕl it is a sign forever."
The Sabbath is a gift—a time to build relationships, strengthen our faith, and encourage one another. When we honor it in unity, we align ourselves with the rhythm of Yahusha’s divine plan.
Black History and the Sabbath: A Legacy of Faith and Strength
Our ancestors, even in the face of oppression, clung to the Word of Yahusha. They gathered in hidden places to worship, pray, and uplift one another. Their faith did not waver because they knew the power of communal strength. Just as they leaned on Yahusha and each other, we must do the same today.
The Sabbath is a reminder that we are never alone. Yahusha’s presence and our spiritual family walk with us, ensuring we are upheld in every season.
II. Why We Need Each Other: The Power of Unity
Yahusha’s ministry was never meant to be a solo journey. Even He surrounded Himself with disciples, teaching them to walk in unity. We are stronger together.
1. We Encourage One Another
Life is full of challenges, but through fellowship, we uplift each other. A single coal removed from the fire grows cold, but when kept in the fire of community, it burns brightly.
Halaleyah Scriptures Reference:
Ibrim (Hebrews) 10:24-25 – "And let us be concerned for one another in order to stir up love and good works, not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as is the habit of some, but encouraging one another."
When we gather, whether in worship, prayer, or simply in support, we remind each other who we are—chosen, loved, and empowered by Yahusha.
2. We Are Each Other’s Strength
The burdens of life can be heavy, but we were never meant to carry them alone.
Halaleyah Scriptures Reference:
Galatiyim (Galatians) 6:2 – "Bear one another’s burdens, and so complete the Torah of Messiah."
Our ancestors knew this well. During times of hardship, they leaned on their faith and each other, ensuring no one was left behind. That same spirit must live within us today.
3. Unity Defeats the Enemy
Division weakens us, but unity makes us unstoppable!
Halaleyah Scriptures Reference:
Qoheleth (Ecclesiastes) 4:9-12 – "Two are better than one… for if they fall, one lifts up his companion… And a threefold cord is not easily broken."
A people united in Yahusha cannot be shaken, deceived, or destroyed. The more we stand together, the more the enemy’s plans fail.
III. Moving Forward in Fellowship and Purpose
We are called to fellowship. We are called to unity. We are called to walk together in the power of Yahusha.
What Can We Do?
1. Honor the Sabbath Together – Whether in-person or online, make an effort to fellowship. Share testimonies, break bread, and uplift one another.
2. Pray for One Another – Intercessory prayer strengthens us. When we pray for our brothers and sisters, we fortify the entire body of Yahusha.
3. Support One Another – In times of need, let us be present for our fellow believers. Offer kindness, encouragement, and practical help.
4. Teach the Next Generation – Just as our ancestors passed down their faith, we must ensure that our children know the power of Yahusha and unity.
The Call to Action: Be the Fellowship!
Today, let us commit to being a people who stand together—who refuse to let division, isolation, or fear separate us from Yahusha or each other. Let us be a light in this world, showing that the body of Yahusha is strong, unbreakable, and full of love!
Closing Prayer
Abba Yahusha, we thank You for the power of fellowship and unity. Strengthen our hearts, guide our steps, and help us to always seek You together. Let our love for one another be a testimony of Your greatness. Bind us as one body, as one people, as one family in You. We declare victory over division, over loneliness, and over fear. In Your mighty name, HaleluYah!
