Family in faith, we gather here, the day after an election, to lift up our voices in prayer, praise, and purpose. No matter the result, we know this truth remains: Yahuah is still on the throne. Our hearts may feel the weight of change or the challenge of uncertainty, but WBJMinistries reminds us that our mission is rooted not in the powers of this world, but in the power of Yahusha, our Messiah.
Scripture Focus - (Psalms )-Tehillim 118:8-9
"It is better to take refuge in Yahuah than to trust in man. It is better to take refuge in Yahuah than to trust in princes."
We have seen the campaigning, the debates, the passion, and the division. And now, we stand on the day after—each of us carrying hopes, questions, and maybe some worries. But my brothers and sisters, today is not a day for fear. It is a day to turn our eyes back to the One who holds all authority and all nations in His hands.
WBJMinistries believes in a foundation built on Yahusha’s teachings, in a community that lifts each other up. Let us remember, the power we have isn’t in politics alone but in the choices we make to live righteously, to serve one another, and to spread peace and love. The Tehillim -(Psalms) tells us, "It is better to take refuge in Yahuah than to trust in man." We are reminded here that our ultimate refuge, our security, is in Yahuah, not in leaders or systems.
Trusting in His Sovereignty - (Romiyim )-Romans 13:1
"Let every soul be subject to the governing authorities, for there is no authority except from Yahuah, and the authorities that exist are appointed by Yahuah."
This is not a call to passivity, but a call to faith. It’s a call to recognize that no matter who leads, our actions, prayers, and mission do not change. WBJMinistries, we are called to minister to hearts, to proclaim the good news, to be a light in the darkness. So we go forward, trusting that Yahuah uses all things for His glory and our good.
As followers of Yahusha, we can be agents of healing in a divided world. We don’t look to one man or woman to be our savior. Our Savior has already come, and His name is Yahusha! The prophet Isaiah reminds us, "For unto us a Child is born, unto us a Son is given; and the government will be upon His shoulder. And His name will be called Wonderful, Counselor, Mighty Elohim, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace." Yeshayahu -(Isaiah 9:6)
Called to Serve, Not Just to Vote
My friends, we didn’t just participate in an election; we are part of a kingdom. WBJMinistries knows this well—we have a purpose beyond the political. Our work in Yahusha is about ministering to the brokenhearted, feeding the hungry, and supporting the downtrodden. As we read in the Halleluyah Scriptures, we are "a royal priesthood, a set-apart nation," called to proclaim His praises. (Kepha Aleph 2:9, also 1 Peter 2:9)
Let us, then, pray for our leaders, even those we may not have chosen, knowing that in Yahuah’s wisdom, He uses every person for His plans. Let us serve, let us love, and let us stand firm in faith.
A Prayer for the Nation-
Father Yahuah, we stand united today, the day after our nation has chosen its leader. We pray for healing, for unity, and for courage. Let us be beacons of Your love in times of division. Let WBJMinistries continue to serve with boldness, to reach out to the lost, and to hold onto hope, no matter the earthly rulers in place. Yahusha, our Messiah, we follow You above all else. May Your kingdom come, and may Your will be done. HalleluYah!
Exhortation- Go forth, WBJMinistries, with peace and power! Remember the words of Tehillim, "This is the day Yahuah has made; we will rejoice and be glad in it." (Psalm 118:24) Hold fast to the work we are called to do, for we are set apart, we are chosen, and we are fearless. HalleluYah and Shalom!
