Unshackled Justice- A Divine Call for Reparations

To the Gatekeepers of Justice- A Call for Political Courage on Reparations
Opening Prayer-
Father Yahusha, we come before You, declaring that justice and righteousness are the foundations of Your throne. Today, we address those in positions of political power who hold the keys to change. May Your Spirit convict their hearts and embolden their actions. In Yahusha’s name, Halaleyah.
To the lawmakers, leaders, and policymakers who have the authority to right historic wrongs, I stand here as a servant of Yahusha, a voice for the voiceless, and a defender of truth. African Americans have borne the scars of slavery, systemic racism, and generational inequality for far too long. Yet, the halls of power remain silent, or worse, resistant to change.
Let me remind you of Yahusha’s Word:
(Mishlĕy )-Proverbs 21:15- "When justice is done, it brings joy to the righteous but terror to evildoers."
Justice delayed is justice denied, and your inaction perpetuates suffering.
A Direct Challenge to Political Leaders
To those who block reparations, I ask- What are you afraid of? Is it the cost? The backlash? The loss of political favor? Yahusha’s Word is clear about the consequences of ignoring justice.
(Jerimiyim) -Jeremiah 22:3- "This is what Yahweh says- Do what is just and right. Rescue from the hand of the oppressor the one who has been robbed."
Your refusal to act makes you complicit in oppression.
(Yeshayahu)- Isaiah 10:1-2- "Woe to those who make unjust laws, to those who issue oppressive decrees, to deprive the poor of their rights."
Woe to you who stand in the way of justice! You will be held accountable—not just by history but by the Almighty.
The Moral Imperative of Reparations
Reparations are not about political gain; they are about moral responsibility. This nation was built on the backs of enslaved Africans, yet their descendants continue to suffer under systemic inequality.
(Luqas)-Luke 12:48- "To whom much is given, much will be required."
You, as elected leaders, have been entrusted with power. It is not yours to hoard but to use for the betterment of those who have been wronged.
(Shemoth) -Exodus 22:12- "If a man steals an ox or a sheep and slaughters it or sells it, he must repay five oxen for the ox and four sheep for the sheep."
Reparations are Biblical—they are Yahusha’s mandate for restoring what has been taken.
Political Courage is Required
To the political leaders afraid to act, I say- courage is the currency of change. The greatest leaders in history stood for justice, even when it was unpopular.
Joshua 1:9- "Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for Yahusha, your God /Elohim, will be with you wherever you go."
Stop hiding behind excuses. Yahusha will strengthen you if you act in righteousness.
Micah 6:8- "He has shown you, O mortal, what is good. And what does Yahusha require of you? To act justly and to love mercy and to walk humbly with your God/Elohim."
Your mandate is clear—act justly, love mercy, and humble yourselves to Yahusha’s call.
Reparations are a Path to National Healing
Reparations are not just about financial restitution; they are about healing the soul of this nation.
2 Chronicles 7:14- "If my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and I will forgive their sin and will heal their land."
America is wounded, and its healing requires repentance and restitution.
Amos 5:24- "But let justice roll on like a river, righteousness like a never-failing stream!"
Will you let justice flow, or will you continue to dam the river of righteousness?
A Call to Political Action
To those in Congress, state legislatures, and local governments, I call on you today-
Pass H.R. 40- Move beyond endless debate. Establish the commission to study and develop reparations proposals.
Listen to the People- Hold town halls and hear directly from the descendants of the enslaved.
Lead Boldly- Be the leaders history remembers for standing on the side of justice, not excuses.
Partner with Faith Leaders- Collaborate with ministries like WBJMinistries to educate and inspire communities about the moral and spiritual necessity of reparations.
To those blocking justice, Yahusha’s Word is clear*
(Mishlĕy) -Proverbs 14:31- "Whoever oppresses the poor shows contempt for their Maker, but whoever is kind to the needy honors God/Elohim."
Your inaction dishonors Yahusha.
James 4:17- "If anyone, then, knows the good they ought to do and doesn’t do it, it is sin for them."
You know what is right. Now is the time to do it.
Closing Declaration-
I speak directly to you today- political leaders, the time for delay is over. The time for justice is now. Reparations are not just a demand of the people—they are a command of Yahusha. Align yourselves with His Word, and you will be blessed. Resist, and you will face His judgment.
Closing Prayer
Father Yah, convict the hearts of those in power. Stir within them a fire for justice that cannot be quenched. May they rise boldly, unshackled by fear, and act in obedience to Your Word. In Yahusha’s name, Halaleyah.
Final Call to Action-
Leaders, act now. The world is watching, and so is Yahusha. Do justice, love mercy, and walk humbly. Halaleyah!
