Strength for the Journey- Achieving Goals with Yah’s Guidance

Sermon Strength for the Journey- Achieving Your Goals and Eliminating Energy Killers-
By WBJMinistries

Opening Prayer

Heavenly Father,
We come before You today with hearts filled with gratitude and longing for Your wisdom. You are the giver of strength, the sustainer of our souls, and the guide on the path You have set before us. As we explore how to achieve the goals You have placed in our hearts while casting aside distractions and energy killers, may Your Word inspire us, convict us, and renew us. Let this message be a light to our paths and nourishment to our spirits. In Yahusha’s holy name, we pray. HalleluYah!

There was once a family, the Thompsons, who lived in a small town. Each member had big dreams, but they struggled with distractions and exhaustion. The father, John, wanted to start a ministry to help at-risk youth. The mother, Sarah, dreamed of opening a wellness center to serve their community. Their teenage daughter, Grace, aspired to be a writer, and their son, Daniel, hoped to excel in sports.

Each morning, they gathered at the kitchen table to plan their day. But their plans often went awry—social media, procrastination, endless chores, and fatigue sapped their energy. Frustration set in, and their goals felt further away than ever.

One Sunday, they attended a service at WBJMinistries. The minister, inspired by both the Halleluyah Scriptures and traditional biblical texts, shared a sermon that transformed their lives.

The minister began by quoting:

"Whatever your hand finds to do, do it with all your might" (Ecclesiastes 9:10).

"I can do all things through Mashiach who strengthens me" (Philippians 4:13).

"Come to me, all you who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest" (Matthew 11:28).

The minister explained, "Our goals are not achieved by striving alone but by aligning our energy with Yahusha’s will. To achieve great things, we must first identify and eliminate energy killers."

Lessons from Scripture

 Guard Your Time

Halleluyah Scriptures- "Teach us to number our days, that we may gain a heart of wisdom" (Tehillim 90:12).

John realized he spent hours scrolling through his phone. Inspired by this verse, he started setting boundaries for his time.

Rely on Yahusha’s Strength

Traditional Bible- "But those who wait on Yahusha shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings like eagles" (Isaiah 40:31).

Sarah learned to rest in Yahusha’s presence when she felt overwhelmed, drawing strength from quiet moments of prayer and scripture reading.

Eliminate Distractions

Halleluyah Scriptures- "Let your eyes look forward; fix your gaze straight ahead" (Mishle 4:25).

Grace began setting aside specific times to write, keeping her focus on her calling instead of succumbing to distractions.

 Cultivate Discipline and Perseverance

Traditional Bible- "Do you not know that in a race all the runners run, but only one gets the prize? Run in such a way as to get the prize" (1(Qrinthyim )-Corinthians 9:24).

Daniel embraced daily practice and discipline, knowing that small, consistent efforts would lead to success.

The Transformation

The Thompsons started implementing what they learned. They created schedules that prioritized their goals, spent time in daily prayer, and made room for rest. Over time, they saw Yahusha’s hand at work.

John launched his ministry, Sarah opened her wellness center, Grace published her first short story, and Daniel made it to the varsity team. They learned that by eliminating energy killers and relying on Yahusha, they could accomplish their dreams while staying energized and faithful.

Closing Prayer

Heavenly Father,
We thank You for the wisdom of Your Word and the example of families like the Thompsons. Help us to identify and eliminate the energy killers in our lives, to rely fully on Your strength, and to press on toward the goals You have placed in our hearts. May we run the race with endurance and keep our eyes fixed on You, the author and finisher of our faith. Bless WBJMinistries and all who seek to do Your work with passion and grace. In Yahusha’s name, we pray. HalleluYah!
